Halloumi Fries
Recipe type: Appetizer
Serves: 8-10 fries
Addicting halloumi fries, fried up in minutes!
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese
  • Vegetable oil or olive oil, for frying
  1. Mix the flour, paprika, and oregano in a bowl.
  2. Cut the halloumi cheese into ½ inch thick strips, like fries. Dip the strips into the spiced flour and coat well.
  3. Heat the oil to medium high in a frying pan. Working in batches, add the halloumi strips and cook each side for 1-2 minutes, or until golden.
  4. When golden and crispy on all sides, transfer to a serving dish and serve.
You can typically friend halloumi cheese at specialty stores like Greek or Mediterranean markets.
